The Princeton Buddhist Meditation Group is a small, relatively informal group that holds regularly scheduled meditation and practice sessions. At any given time, we are usually conducting a public class in a Buddhist topic, watching and discussing videos by various Buddhist teachers, or studying a book on Buddhist teachings. (See our current schedule.)
Drawing on Tibetan Buddhist teachings, as well as the Zen and Theravada traditions, PBMG offers opportunities to study, contemplate, and practice the Buddhadharma—the truth of our minds and experience, as taught by Shakyamuni Buddha more than 2,500 years ago. While this is the fundamental perspective presented in our sessions, there is no need to be or to become a Buddhist in order to attend, and no fee is ever charged for admission to our study and practice sessions.
